Our Future Plan
Cleveland Private Hospital
Exciting times are ahead with our plan to expand Hub 68 into a state-of-the art private hospital.
Our commitment to best practice healthcare for Redland City is based on a report by Foresight & Partners.
The Redland City region has (at June 2019) undersupply of around
• 146 private hospital beds
• 10 day surgery beds.
• 180 medical specialists
• 145 retirement independent units
By 2041, only 20 years from now, the City would have undersupply of around
• 190 private hospital beds
• 14 day surgery beds
• 255 medical specialists
• 770 retirement independent units
(These are in addition to demand for public hospital facilities.)
Our proposal will generate around 1,560 direct and indirect full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs and contribute around $216 million directly and indirectly to Gross Regional Product in the construction phase. It is estimated that the proposal would provide around 980 FTE jobs in the operational phase.
The private hospital is in the early stages of planning and development.
