Our Future Plan

Cleveland Private Hospital

Our Future
Exciting times are ahead with our plan to expand Hub 68 into a state-of-the art private hospital.

Our commitment to best practice healthcare for Redland City is based on a report by Foresight & Partners.

The Redland City region has (at June 2021) undersupply of around:
• 150 private hospital beds
• 11 day surgery beds.
• 208 medical specialists
• 377 retirement independent units

By 2041, the City would have undersupply of around:
• 191 private hospital beds
• 15 day surgery beds
• 279 medical specialists
• 1,204 retirement independent units

(These are in addition to demand for public hospital facilities.)

Our proposal will generate around 2,880 direct and indirect full-time equivalent (FTE) jobs and contribute around $355 million directly and indirectly to Gross Regional Product in the construction phase. It is estimated that the proposal would provide around 826 FTE jobs in the operational phase.

The private hospital is in the early stages of planning and development.
